just a couple of questions

how do i uninstall apps on my Mac, also how would i unistalled one app out of a suite of programs

Is there anyway to do mantainance on the Mac, like free up files on your HDD, temp files and so on also free up temp internet files and cookies (is my only option through the browser?)

Also is there a defrag HDD funtion??

Is there any universal browser appart from the safari one also is there a universal mail client

Thanks guys in advance, you guys have been a great help so far, this mac forum is the best i have come across

Uninstall: Just look for the app in the Applications folder and delete it. If you want to go a bit further, in Finder search for the app name, and it will give you the application plus some extra files (associated with your preferences). If you want to go even further follow this link:

Mantainance: Try Onyx (http://www.titanium.free.fr/pgs/english.html). Check VersionTracker for similar apps.
Defrag is automatic with OSX. There are some apps that can defrag but most are commercial.

Are the browsers universal?
Safari is quite good i think, i have no problems with it i just want a alternative.
