Yes, it's called Time Machine and is in your applications folder. (Time Machine.app) You'll need an external hard drive in order to use it.

Another option is cloning to an external hard drive using cloning softare such as SuperDuper and CarbonCopyCloner. Clones have one advantage ~ they are bootable in case of emergency.

Good luck. Would be concerned about formatting the drive/partition with Master Boot Record (MBR) rather than Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and GUID. MBR is PC formatting.
