Calendar Duplicates

Mac mini 2.6GHz i5 8GB RAM 1TB HDD OSX Yosemite
My calendar on my iMac is showing duplicates. It sinks with my iPhone through iCloud i think. I check iCloud it don't have duplicates neither does my phone. Any help would be appreciated.

Chances are very, very high that you have both "On My Mac" and "iCloud" calendars checked on your iMac's Calendar.

View the list of calendars, and UNcheck all the local ones that overlap with the iCloud ones.

Actually what I had was two iCloud accounts. I unchecked one and the duplicates were gone. Wondered why I had two iCloud accounts as they were identical so I deleted one and all is well. Thanks for the help.
