• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

.ppt to .mov, with H.264?

(I have PowerPoint 2011 for Mac, Quicktime 7 Pro, and Quicktime 10.)

I'm exporting PowerPoint presentations to .mov via the "Save as Movie" function, then going into QT7 Pro and setting them to auto-play in fullscreen mode with PPT's transitions intact. So far it's working fine, except I need to save one out as H.264; currently PPT is exporting the movies as "MS Powerpoint Movie" instead.

If I open the .mov exported from PPT in QT7 and "Export" using H.264, the resulting movie file looks washed out and the transitions between slides no longer function, so that's not good. How can I change PPT's movie file to H.264 while not screwing up the movie like that?

Thanks.
