I downloaded the free version of SyncFolders which works great. I synced my Pictures folder on the internal drive to the same on an external drive, it is a big folder (390GB) but after 1 1/2 hours all was done fine.

It left a _DelSyncFiles folder (74GB) on the external drive and my question is can I delete this large folder as it seems to contain either duplicates or empty folders.

I don't really understand how during the sync process so much data becomes available to delete, can anyone explain this to me?

Thanks in advance

I would contact the app developer directly. That way you'll get a 100% accurate answer.

I'd 'guess' it's temp files used during the process that should have been cleared once the sync completed

Thanks for your reply mrplow.

I've sent an email to their contact address and hope I'll get some info soon.
