I want to be able to set my line spacing at 1.5 rather than staying at a single space or going to a double. Is this possible ? If so, how do you do it ?

Kind regards

Kevin

In what application? They all handle spacing differently.

As far as I know, you can not set the line spacing to 1.5 lines in Mail. You can of course manually double or triple space but not 1.5 spaces. You would need to use a different Mail program that allows spacing options. I suppose you could always create your mail message in another program such as Pages or Word and then copy and paste it into Mail for sending. But that's extra work.

Many thanks for this. I don't have to have 1.5 spacing but what has been happening some of the time is that the mac mail prog. has a following line all bunched up and far too close to the line above. Perhaps it is a Mavericks issue ?

Much more likely to be a type issue. Have you by any chance used a program called Monolingual to "remove unnecessary languages" or anything similar?

I could try monolingual but would that have anything to do with this line space issue? What is also odd is that it only happens some of the time....

Praps I ought to just live with the problem !

Was not suggesting you try Monolingual. Was suggesting that if you had used it, it might be the source of your issue.
