Well, not much help at all - what do you want to do w/ photo software (e.g. just crop & resize vs. extensive image editing w/ multiple layers and PhotoShop capabilities)? Do you want an app that is free or paid? How steep of a learning curve to you want?
For simple photo manipulation (e.g. resizing, cropping, adding arrows/boxes/etc., & basic editing), Preview (built into Mavericks) would be my first suggestion - if not enough, then please provide us more useful information. Dave
