Video capture tools

Hi! (Very) new convert to OSX here. I've been running Windows and Linux for the past few years and just bought a MBP in December. Late '13, 8GB RAM. I'm looking for a tool to capture video from a USB capture device. Under windows I was using Stoik and Virtualdub, but neither is available for OSX. Any suggestions?

That site appears to be selling Video Capture software for use with various capture devices. Which device do you use?

I use an older Pinnacle Dazzle, Dazzle Video Creator Platinum HD - Video Capture Device
All that was available locally. For PC. Works fine except for audio, I have to hook that straight to the Mac.
Had it hooked up to a VCR.
