Hi, I've done a review of a cool book about OS X, updated for Mavericks. It's great for serious beginners/advanced beginners/switchers/upgraders/intermediate users, and even advanced users to some extent. It's very readable, and the earlier versions were the top selling Mac books. I've reviewed the e-book version. It's on a music production site, but it applies to all Mac users. http://www.macableton.com/features/mac-stuff/review-os-x-mavericks-the.html

Hope some of you find this useful!

I bought a book from that series when I first jumped into OS X and found it very informative.
