Print shop software

I am new to Mac and have been looking for some software that would be similar to the "PrintMaster Platinum" software I used with my PC. Mainly to do business cards, newsletters etc. It will have to run on OS X 10.4.4.

What would you suggest?

I'm interested in this too, since I'm trying to convert my mom and mother-in-law to macs and they both use that kind of printing software.
