I keep seeing that I can do all these when I open the "window" tab and go to "activities" But when I do that there is no "activities" tab within it.

If you're trying to pull down a YouTube video, I recommend the free MacTubes. It's not the only option out there but it has never failed me.

Unless that was an IE option, that function should also be available on a Mac (since all the other browsers except for Safari and IE works across platforms).

IE = Internet Explorer. What browser were you using in Windows where this was an option?

Safari 5.1.7 was the last version available for Windows. ;)

No, you can't just right click and save a clip. That would be too easy and make too much sense! That was a great feature of Windows I miss so much: the ability to right click and save movie clips and perform other actions. They say things are so much easier on a Mac, but they are not (my experience and opinion).

There is a way to save clips to iMovies. I tried a couple of times, but it was not worth the bother. Don't ask me how to do it as there are so many steps and I've long forgotten.

You guys have to be more specific. What browser were you using and what videos were you trying to download? Most videos are Flash videos (non-downloadable) and if they weren't Flash, most are still restricted in this regard.

Second, unless you used IE, this is not a Windows issue since every other major browser for Windows also works on the Mac.
