Need help with an email problem

Hi

I'm new here and need a little help with a recent email problem.

It seems that as I delete old email, they are replicating themselves multiple times and will not stay in any form of order. Makes my email on this computer unusable.

Can anyone shed some light on this problem for me?

I live a distance from the nearest Apple store and am not able to get there for assistance.

Check with your provider as they may have some server issue. Sounds like the server itself not deleting emails and resending when your system active looking for mail.

This only happens on my Macbook. Not on my IPhone or on my IPad.

I can check with my ISP in the am, but am curious as to why it is just on my computer???
