I'm new with Toast and have a few questions. First, is there a way to compress files more so you can fit more onto a DVD? Second, I cant figure out how to make a menu for my DVDs. I like iMovie's menu making interface. Is there a way to export that to Toast and then burn that DVD in Toast? Thanks

Open Toast and click on the Video tab. If yo don't see a slide out area to the left, click on the little round button with a triangle in it just to the left. A slide out window appears with the format and menu options. It also has a slider for video quality. Moving the slider to the left I expect will compress the video further. Click on the 'More' button for further options.

As far as I know, there is no way to export iDVD menus to Toast. From what I can tell, Toast only allows you to select a menu style, but not customize it, except for the image shown by Editing the files you drag to the main window.

For another compression option you can check out my 02-05-2006 post on this thread, http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29989 may help with resizing the video.

P.S. I haven't used Toast for DVDs because I prefer iDVD. Toast seems limited for this purpose.
