We currently are investigating changing from a PC environment to the MAC environment. Our company has only six people three of which work remotely. What has been your experience with running MAC OS and Windows on the MAC? What other issues should we be concerned with?

It might hel pow a bit about what kind of business is involved. Include such details as whether you need to run specific pieces of software and basics of the Macs involved.

One of the first things you will want to learn is..."short-hand" for Macintosh is "Mac" not "MAC".:)

To those of use who have been Macintosh users for a long time...using the term "MAC" stands out like a big red Zit on someones chin!;)

Like Sly said, it all depends on what you need to do. The company I'm currently working for it running most of the office with Macs, including the file server.

For what it's worth. I used to work for a multi-billion dollar company that was all Mac's. You can imagine all of the different departments for a company this size that would need to "their thing" on a Mac.

And this was way back in 1990. I'm sure running a business (large or small) on only Macintosh computers is MUCH MUCH easier in 2013!:)

To expound on what pigoo3 said, MAC IS a computer term. MAC= Media Access Control address.

The computer brand we all know and love is a Mac.

Although it may seem quite trivial, we try to keep the jargon standardized to eliminate any confusion when trying to convey questions and solutions on this forum. Someone may actually have a problem with their MAC.;)
