burning dics from iPhoto

I am a real problem with using iPhoto to burn my project onto a cd/dvd that can be read by those using Windows operating system. All I want to do is burn the images so others can put them into their machine and view. When I have tried to do this, all the data relating to the images I am burning is also burnt so when the disc is opened you have to scroll through several screens with folders instead of just being able to view the images.
Any help would be most welcome, there must be a simple way of achieving this surely?
