Join MBP Retina to Domain

I have a brand new MBP Retina fresh out of the box that I am having issues joining to our domain.
I get "Unable to Connect to Server".
I have tried wireless and with an ethernet connection.
Oddly enough I can "Go To" on any of the domain controllers and get to any shares without any problems.
I've joined other Macs to the domain without any issues. Not exactly sure if it's something with just the MBP Retina?!?!
Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Does the mac receive both the correct DNS servers and domain name in the ip address settings?

What is handling your DHCP? The servers or network switches/routers?
