My son accidentally formatted my old external hard drive which I used on my old PC.
When I got my macbook pro it worked well with it (mainly music).
I used a free recovery programme (Recuva) on my old PC to get the files back.
Now when I try to play the MP3s on my Mac they don't start from the beginning. How can I rectify this to make them play from the beginning of the song instead of part way through.
Also when I used the recovery programme on my PC it didn't recover any of my photos for some reason.
Has anybody any ideas in plain English please as I am not an expert. I hope you can understand this and I apologise if it doesn't sound too technical.
