Intel Core solo Mac mini 1.5GHz, Headless Powerbook G4 500MHz
I just bought a "Apple Macintosh Powerbook 3400 200Mhz CD 80MB RAM Bag" off ebay. Can I upgrade it to a g3?
Edit: I mean can i install os x ?

what about with xpostfacto and a os x public release beta

In theory, XPostFacto should let you run OS X on it. But expect it to be slow and buggy.

XPostFacto will let you install 10.2 Jaguar, but not 10.3 Panther or 10.4 Tiger. Also some functions (sleep, battery monitoring, etc.) are not supported.

The only way to upgrade a 3400 to a G3 is to swap the motherboard for a 3500 MoBo. This is much to expensive and hard to find to be practical.... but possible even with the G3 processor there are still bugs when running OSX/Xpostfacto.
