if you burn an audio cd in toast doesn't it convert it to mp3? can't you just drag those files to the desktop or something and then drag them into mp3 cd?

o yeah you can also use Jhymn (it won't work with songs bought of itunes six i guess)

http://hymn-project.org/jhymndoc/

you can also just burn them to a cd and then reimport them as mp3's

Did you try just setting Toast to make a data cd and drag/drop the raw mp3 files from your Finder window into Toast to burn it?

i got the original question.. but so much other stuff going on..

bottom line.. you want to burn a data cd of mp3s...

are they already in that format? (*are they in your itunes?)

here you are:

1. make a playlist of files
2. go to preferences.
3. go to advanced
4. go to burning
5. choose your burner
6. under disk format..
click "mp3 cd"
7. click "OK"
8. go to that playlist you made
9. put in the blank cd
10. click burn up on the upper right hand corner.

that's it..
