SCSI adapter for dual 1.8 G5 OS10.5.8?

I have a PowerMac G5 dual 1.8 processor running OS 10.5.8. I also have an old external drive from my G3 or G4 that I haven't touched in years and years.

I thought I'd copied all of my files to my new drives, but there's a couple on the old external drive that I need.

Is there a SCSI card or adapter that will work with a G5 and OS 10.5+?

No, I don't have the old G3 or G4.

I've read about some Adaptec SCSI cards that will work in OSX, as well as an ATTO device, but don't know if they'll work in 10.5.8.

The standard Adaptec SCSI cards will not work in a Mac. You need a Mac card - the majority of SCSI cards around are Windows or DOS only as most have a built in BIOS. And that doesn't work in a Mac....

I'm just trying to get the files off the drive, not use the drive in the future. I can't find a computer place in my area that can pull data off the drive.
