Time Machine Error

My Time Machine has an error -6584 The time machine is not backing up at all in the past two weeks. I have re-set the machine and nothing happens.
Does anyone know what this means?
Does it have something to do withe the airport utility?
I'm running Mountain LIon 10.7.5 on a MAC OSX.

Could be a corrupt Time Machine Preference file. Read through this discussion from Apple, you may find it helpful.

You didn't provide us with much info. You mentioned airport utility - are you backing up to a Time Capsule? Also include the year and model Mac you have.
