I am not able to install Win RAR on my mac and hence not able to open .rar files. Can some body help me out?
Hey Tom...I don't really know much about "Winrar"...but I did find a Macintosh version:
WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files
Wasn't sure how this fits in with what you mentioned above.

And, I've been using the free version of Stuffit, since my first Mac.
WinRAR is a "Windows" data compression tool that focuses on the RAR and ZIP data compression formats for all "Windows" users.
You're both right. WinRAR appears to be the UI for the RAR tool, which itself is cross platform. So, WinRAR is Windows only but the underlying RAR tool is not. At least this is what I glean from the website.Hey Tom...I don't really know much about "Winrar"...but I did find a Macintosh version
