Help needed!
I am running a Windows Server 2008 OS Standard on VWWare Fusion.
At the moment I have tested connectivity between my Mac and Windows and everything works well over NAT. I'm also looking to connect to the LAN through Windows to connect to other Windows machines on the LAN.
The Mac's IP address is 192.169.1.174, the Virtual Machine's address is 192.168.205.157.
I am looking to connect to a Windows machine on the network with the address 192.168.9.29.
At the moment, 192.16.9.29 successfully pings 192.168.1.174 but I'm unable to get 192.168.205.157 to ping .9.29.
Suggestions please!!
Many thanks!

One quick thing to try is to switch from NAT to Bridged in the network config for the VM. That will now put the VM on the same IP range as the host and if the remote machine can ping the host, it should be able to ping the VM as well.
