IR remote control

can anyone please explain to me why my itunes completely changed the first time i used an IR remote control? and if there is anyway i can change it back to what it was while still using the remote?:(

sorry turns out, my itunes changing and my using the IR remote control for the first time just coincided with the itunes update to itunes 11, which has a new interface. thanks for the quick reply though.:)
