I've been curious as to how i can assign a certain set of characters to an F1-F12 key. It is for a cheat in a game that needs to be used quickly. Can anyone tell me if/ how i can do that? Thanks

You might be able to do this in System Prefs>Keyboard>Keyboard Shortcuts>Services and/or use Automator to create a workflow.
