My Macbook Pro seems to turn off when I leave the room or go to bed and I have to re-enter my password. I want to turn this feature off. I'm 24/7 with Skype. I have gone into Preferences with no luck. The Power option just dealt with the battery.

Try going into System Preferences-> Security and there you should be able to remove the check from 'Require password' and uncheck if it there is a check mark after 'Log out after x minutes of inactivity'. My OS is Snow Leopard so yours may differ if your OS is something different.
