need some confidence for bootcamp

been babying my mac book pro but i want to setup bootcamp and use windows for a game.

question, when its done, if i hold command + r on startup and go to disk restore and erase everything and reinstall lion, will my mac be like new again?

Not entirely sure what you're getting at but:

Yes, assuming you have a new Mac that supports the recovery partition and have Lion or Mountain Lion installed.

2. Bootcamp installs alongside OSX so you can just run the Bootcamp assistant again and it will remove the Windows partition and bootcamp. No need to wipe the entire machine
