dual G4 - what can it do?

I have my eye on a PowerMac with dual G4 500Mhz and 512Mb RAM running Tiger 10.4

What is this spec capable of? What will it struggle with? It wont be used for gaming, smooth MP3 and video playback will be my main concern really, will it manage this (I imagine so) and will it feel sluggish or be fine? I am coming from a P4 1.7Ghz with 512Mb RAM running XP if that helps.

Also, what would be the best way to connect it to my WiFi router, could anyone reccommend a wireless PCI card or do I need an airport card?

Well it wont run final cut pro. or at least not very well, you need at least 1 gig for HD on final cut.

i think it will run most apps ok

erm mp3 and video should be fine, i dont think tiger will be as sanppy as it should be.

All in all i think a mac mini would be better

Do you think I would I be better off waiting for a dual 800Mhz (or better) then?
