I am just installing a 2 X 2 t/b Synology DS212J raid 1 NAS. I have got to the point of trying to set up File Sharing. It's asking for a Domain name and i have no idea as to what any domain names are and where I can find them.

If anyone can help then I would be very grateful. It's driving me up the wall!!!

I'm not even sure that I should be using the 'Domain'? Should I be using the 'LDAP Server Address' and if so where on earth is that please??:Confused::Confused:

Since all devices have their own interfaces, you'll probably be better off at the Synology forums - link.

Thank you Bob. Thinking along the lines that there is a forum for everything, I forgot to look for this one :Blushing:

I will give it a good look now..
