Os X upgrade effects on windows/bootcamp

Hi,

I have been wanting to upgrade my Mac Os X software for sometime. Currently I'm running Leopard on my MacbookPro and Windows Xp with bootcamp.

Does anyone know the effects of upgrading to the latest Mac software on bootcamp? Will the installation respect my Windows files an programs or will I have to do a backup and re-install everything all over again?

You can upgrade your version of OS X without impacting Windows. However, it's always best to make a backup just in case. You can use WinClone to make a backup of your Boot Camp partition. ($19.99)
