Hi,

about two months ago I bought a Mac Book Pro 15" non retina 2.6GHz. I am surprised about the fact that even when temperature reaches the 76Degrees the cooling fans are still at the same speed as when 40Degrees. is this normal? And wish to ask at what temperatures do these fans accelerate normally?

Thankiing you in advance

If you think there is actually something defective about your machine, take it back to an Apple Store.

Otherwise, you'll just have to trust that Apple knows what they are doing regarding cooling your machine and that it is functioning normally. A CPU temperature of 76 (C) is perfectly normal.

Apple designs their computers to use natural heat dispersal as much as possible, so that the fans can run very quietly. Isn't it great?
