information panel in iphoto

I'm just getting the hang of iphoto on my MAC, but every time I select a photo and click the Information panel, it crashes, sends an error message and I have to reset. Any suggestions?

I can only suggest this:

Open iPhoto while holding down BOTH the command and option keys. You will see a checkbox list of repairable options. Do all of them. This will take some time.

When finished, just for good measure, run OnyX or your preferred maintenance program (as long its' not MacKeeper, Clean My Mac or any of that masquerading malware) and restart. See if that fixes the issue.

Information Panel

Thanks for the information. I tried all that and it crashed on the Rebuild Thumbnails. Called Apple Support. Photo Library was damaged and had to import photos all over again. Major sorting, labeling ahead (ugh!) Thanks for responding.
