I recently downloaded X Lossless Decoder and am archiving my CDs on an Iomega eternal HD. No problem there, although I cannot get system to open XLD when I insert an audio CD. But that's not the issue here.
Let's say that I use XLD to create a file and place tracks from two different CDs (albeit by the same artist) in it. When I go to iTunes and use the Add To Library, the one file becomes two - each one named for the original CD from which the the tracks came.
I've tried dragging the tracks from one file to the other in iTunes, but that doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions appreciated.
