In the mac store and at home on my iMac
I was just working on a movie in Final Cut Pro and typing alot of text. Everytime I type somethink, it goes on to a black backround, how can i change the backround?

I think this should help

If i am understanding you right you have not taken the text off the preview window yet. It just appers to have black behind it. Really its just that nothing is yet under that text. Drag the text content down to the timeline and put something under the layer on the text is on.
