None of those disks can be used as they are for the Mac Pro. Also, your Powerbook can only be updated to Leopard as Snow Leopard is Intel only.

And Leopard full retail install DVDs are selling for well over $100.00.

When I bought the software the apple guy told me that I can install the OS disc into 5 different computers

What do you mean Snow Leopard is Intel only ? is my laptop an AMD processor ? I cannot read what processor brand I have

Unfortunately, you cannot use any of those discs if they are gray. If they are retail discs, you can use the Leopard disc to upgrade your PowerBook.

Buy another GB of RAM if you can upgrade to Leopard.

Your PowerBook is a PowerPC computer, not Intel hence newer software will not install. As advised OS X.5 Leopard is as far as you can go and then you will need the black full retail install DVD, not a silver/grey disc which as also advised are model specific.

Thank you for all the good advices , yes my Leopard is the black full retail install DVD, but now I don't know if I can tinker and open it up to add more RAM ,I might break it.
Please explain me what is the difference between PowerBook, PowerPC and Intel. ???
I thought Intel was only the competition to AMD.
