imovie will not finalize project

imovie quits unexpectantly while finalizing project

I tried several times to finalize my imovie project but it keeps quitting, I need this project finished right say.
I'm using the Mac OS X version 10.7.5
imovie 11 version 9.0.8

Any suggestions?

Have you tried delete/reinstall trick? I can't promise this will work but it's worth a try!

There is no need to finalize an iMovie Project. All this does is create versions of your Project in every resolution that it can support, and makes them available to other applications via the Media Browser.

If you don't want/need this then just Share/Export your Project at the resolution you want.
