How to get rid of an app in ical?

In ical I downloaded an app to populate all the holidays of the year and it apparently has a problem. How do I locate and remove it?

Odds are it's just a calendar that you downloaded. If so, just delete it like you would any other calendar in the sidebar. If it was an app, it's hard for us to tell you where to find it if we don't know what it's called.

I think its more like a plug in, I got it from apples website. Where would it be stored on this mac?

Its called US holiday calendar.

Unfortunately, that name is much too broad. Do you have a link to the page where you got it from?

I figured it out, thanks for the help van. I just went to the calendar button in top left corner and deleted the US holiday calendars that were checked, there were two of them there, so it is acting normal now.
