Mac MIni CD Burn

I want to load a music cd into my library but the cd just ejects right after I put it in the mini.

Which Mini; ie, how old, what processor? What OSX?

Mac mini CD burn

It is a commercial CD. The mini is a 4.1, 2.4 ghz intel core 2 duo with 4 ghz of memory. It is about 4 years old.

Try cleaning the optical drive in your Mini. Buy a can of compressed air from Radio Shack, Wal-Mart, or anywhere else that sells them, and blow several short blasts into the drive slot. If that doesn't work to allow your CD to be read, the drive itself may be defective.
