Installing Ipod Nano

I recently bought the new Ipod nano but when I tried to load my music it wouldn't let me. I have only OS10.4 system is this the problem? Suggestions please on how to get over my issue

Your version of OS X is out of date. As per the system requirements, you need a, "Mac computer with USB 2.0 or 3.0 port, OS X v10.6.8 or later, and iTunes 10.7 or later."

You'll either have to upgrade your machine (if you can) or sync your iPod with another computer.

2017 27" iMac, 10.5" iPad Pro, iPhone 8, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 Mini, Numerous iPods, Monterey
Either what Staff member Vansmith suggested or you can sync (load music) to your iPod Nano manually. You can set your Nano to appear or be used as a flash drive and then drag and drop music on to it. More difficult that way but it does work.
