• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Hi there,
I bought the new macbook pro with retina display yesterday (13-inch: 2.5GHz). It’s been a dream to use so far but last night when I tried to watch a show on putlocker, it wouldn’t stream. The site said I needed a flash plug-in, so I downloaded adobe flash player, installed it, but still no success. I re-installed flash, shut down the computer and tried again, but nothing -- and other video’s from other sides wouldn’t work either.
I’m relatively new to mac and still learning the ins and outs, but can anyone help me out here?
Thanks v. much in advance,
Elja

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
@Chas_m: I went to the adobe site, downloaded flash, installed it, and a message box appeared saying it had been installed. Perhaps I did something wrong?
I'll try all suggestions and report back.
Cheers
