iphoto book and changing text justification

A simple question I can't seem to find the answer to:
I am making a book in iphoto, and want to change the text justification from left to right and/or center. How do I do this? It should be simple.

It is.

1. Select block of text.
2. Choose orientation from pop-up menu.

For visual learners:

I'm using iphoto '09 and it doesn't have pop up menus. Are the pop up menus in iphoto '11?

I figured out I can write text in textedit with the justification I want, and then copy-paste back into iphoto, and it keeps the justification.
