Is it possible to tranfer songs purchased on iTunes from one Apple ID account to another? My wife and I used to have one joint iTunes account, but when we each got iPhones we decided to separate accounts. Now I have the original account, but half the songs are hers.

I don't think you can transfer the songs to her iPhone without first authorizing her iPhone on your account. I'm not sure of that so someone else who is more familiar with the rules of iTunes and accounts will probably have to chime in here.
