moving my music from PC to Mac

I have a bunch of music from my CD's on my PC that I would like to be able to move to my new MacBook Air. I have moved them from the PC to an external hard rive (its a hard drive I use for my Mac and PC files). But how do I play this music on my MAC?

Attach the hard drive that contains the music to your MacBook Air. Double click on a song you wish to transfer. iTunes will open to play the song and at the same time copy it to the iTunes library. Or, if you have a large amount of music to transfer, you can drag and drop it to the iTunes library from the external hard drive.
