No cursor in Pages on MacBook

In clicking into Pages, I am unable to get the cursor to work. I have done some research but obviously unable to find anything that could help me find out why I am having this problem on MacBook. :Grimmace:

More info please.... Are you using a mouse or trackpad? And tell us which MacBook you have and what version of OS X you're using.
