Sony-Frame resizing photos

how do i resize my photos to 800x400 to work on Sony S-Frame (digital photo frame)?

how many photos are we talking about

Not sure, about 100. Put them in iPhoto and custom resized them under Crop to 800 x 450. Now when I put them on my flash drive, the photo frame only sees some of them.
Sooooo frustrated. Thought this would be a simple task.

Sorry,the size needed is 800 x 480. I have typed it wrong twice!

are they all portrait or some landscape

nevermind, copy the photos to a folder and use this automator workflow to resize your photos
