I am trying to eject a disc from my macbook pro, getting a message saying "Supported disc not available." Is there a way to manually eject the disc?

You can:
1. Drag the desktop icon of the disc to the trash.
or
2. Open Disk Utility and choose the disc you wish to eject in the left-hand pane, then click on the Eject button.
or
3. Open Terminal and type "drutil tray eject" to eject the disc.
or
4. Shut down your Mac and restart up while holding down the mouse button.
