is there anyway photos from ipad to usb drive......recently filled ipad with photos whilst travelling and cld not download all. Idea download then transfer to usb then clear and start again sounds simple however how???:

No, the USB Camera Connector Kit only works in the other direction: from a camera card TO the ipad, not the other way around.

Sync your iPad with iTunes and your pictures will be copied into iPhoto or Aperture where they belong.
