Help! My email is possessed!

My MAC email has been taken over by something, is sending emails with subject:HI to the entire address book with text to a malware link. Deleted 140 undeliverable emails just last night before I turned off send/receive. HELP!

It's very possible that the email account has been compromised. The first thing you need to do is change your password. Second, what email service are you using? Some services log who logs into an account so you can see if it indeed has been compromised.
