transferring files

2007 MacBook OX 10.6.8
So I transfered files from eMac to MacBook using migration assistant, unfortunately I cannot locate the files on my MacBook. Can someone tell me where or how to access them?

Mac Mini i5 (2014 High Sierra), iPhone X, Apple Watch, iPad Pro 12.9, AppleTV (4)
They 'should' be in the standard locations Music in Music, documents in Documents etc.

It may have transferred over into the same named user as you had on your eMac. Do you have more than one user account?
