Powerpoint at log in

For some reason Powerpoint is opening every time I turn the computer on. It is not checked to open and I cannot seem to prevent it. Thanks for advice.

Can you check your Login Items under System Perferences->User Accounts to see if it's enabled there?

Thanks Razor--I think I have solved it. It looks as if not only do you have to uncheck the box, you have to delete it from the list of items in system preferences.

You're right. The show/hide box doesn't stop items in that list from loading. They have to be removed from the list.
